Hope you’ve had a wonderful summer, with time to relax and enjoy friends and family. Fall always feels like it’s a new beginning, as the seasons change and the kids head back to school. We’ve been working on some exciting new things at BE A HERO, in our unrelenting quest to improve the lives of children everywhere.

We’ve got a fresh, new logo! Over the next few months we will be adding the new look to our website, our projects and our promotional materials. We liked the concept of “sending” - sending aid to orphans and others in need, sending ourselves and our talents, sending hope, and sending love.

New beds for our children’s home in Kitale, Kenya! The ladies of Kelowna Christian Centre felt that every child should have bedding so they donated the funds and we bought each and every child a mattress, sheets, and blankets (with a few spares for those “oh oh” nights!) They sent some toys too. Thanks, KCC ladies!

You will be challenged to get out of your chair and do something radical with your life!
