What is the 100% Model?
The 100% Model was set up in response to one of the main obstacles for donors – the percentage of a donation that is retained for administration. Be A HERO makes it simple – 100% of the funds donated for a project are sent directly to the project, and not one dollar is held back for administration or overhead.

How can Be A HERO afford to do that?
Be A HERO has supporters that designate their donations specifically for administration, mostly through our Hero Partnership, and Pillar Programs. Having donors that contribute towards our administrative costs allows us to send 100% of funds designated for a project to that project. Thus the project donors can be assured that all of their funds will go towards the project, and the administration donors know full well that their gifts are contributing towards the overhead, development, and expansion of Be A HERO.
