What is “Hero Partnership”

Hero Partnership is a monthly partnership program enabling Be A HERO to continue to expand and multiply; to develop new strategies to raise funds for widows and orphans; and to pursue new opportunities globally, ultimately benefiting many more thousands of children at risk.

Why would I want to become a Hero Partner?

The short answer is: 1.2 billion children at risk cannot be ignored! Aside from that, your commitment to support Be A HERO on a monthly basis allows us to move ahead with the confidence provided by a basic core of funding, which mitigates the fluctuations of income that sometimes are a problem for charities. As Be A HERO does not deduct anything from Project donations for administration, preferring to send 100% of the donation to the specified project, support from monthly Hero Partners is crucial. We have a vision to save one million children, and we need help to do it!

Will I be kept updated on Be A HERO’s progress and accomplishments?

Yes, we will add your contact information to our mailing list, and email you our newsletters.

How much does it cost to become a Hero Partner?

There is no set cost – the amount you wish to invest is entirely up to you. We ask that you commit to a minimum of $25.00 per month, as it is too costly for us to process lesser amounts. Some suggested levels of support are:Per month: $25.00, $50.00, $100.00, $250.00 other

What options do I have for payment?

Options for monthly support are:

Automatic Withdrawal – provide us with a VOID cheque, and we withdraw your partnership on a set day each month. This is our preferred method of payment, as it is the lowest cost to process.
Credit Card – provide us with authorization to charge your credit card each month for the amount of your partnership. We can accept payment through Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. This is convenient and easy, but we must pay a percentage to the credit card company for their processing.
Post-Dated Cheques – provide us with 12 post-dated cheques.

Will I receive a tax receipt?

Be A HERO is a registered charity in Canada and USA. We will issue you a tax receipt early in the following year of your donations. We are in the process of obtaining tax deductibility in Australia.

How do I become a Hero Partner?

If you would like to authorize monthly payment on your credit card, just click here and fill out your contact information and payment details. We will add you to our mailing list, and deduct the charge from your credit card each month.
If you would like to pay using automatic withdrawal, mail a VOID cheque to us, along with a note requesting to become a Hero Partner. We will add you to our mailing list and deduct the charge from your bank account each month.
To pay with post-dated cheques, please MAIL your cheques to us, along with a note requesting to become a Hero Partner. Upon receipt we will, add you to our mailing list, and process your cheque each month.
